The Royal Opera House Muscat is proud to host an evening devoted to the pipe organ, featuring musicians from around the world who will summon a wondrous array of sound from this versatile instrument, performing music dating from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. The National Ensemble of Soloists “Kyivska Kamerata” was conducted by the Egyptian Hisham Gabr.

The National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyivska kamerata" is a leading Ukrainian performer of chamber music of different styles and epochs. The repertoire of this formation is incredibly diverse in genres and styles - it varies from works by Vivaldi, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Wagner, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky & Schoenberg to the best samples of world avant-garde classics of the second half of the XX century. But the main focus of the ensemble's creative activity is a performance of Ukrainian contemporary music and representation of works of Ukrainian composers abroad. One of the characteristic features of the ensemble is its exceptional performing mobility. The members of the company can perform in various musical casts - varying from a duet to a small symphonic orchestra. This - to a greater extent - stipulates a large and diverse repertoire of the orchestra. Chamber music of almost all styles and epochs is represented in concert programs of the ensemble. Owing to its high performing level, the music company gained authority among professional musicians not only in Ukraine, but far beyond its borders.
